Sundrawings

The artists’ book Sundrawings consist of photographs of the sun falling in through the windows and moving across the walls of Adler Petersen’s home and studio in Copenhagen. The sunspots hit both ongoing art projects and everyday objects and form patterns across the shapes of rooms and things. In some of the photographs you sense the space, in others the space is dissolved and you only see the shape of the light that changes, depending on what it hits. The light transforms everyday things into art and suggests that everyday routines can be broken and everything can be changed. The book also contains a newly written poem by author Ursula Andkjær Olsen.

The book was offset printed at Eks-Skolens Trykkeri and handbound by me and Vindinge Bogbinderi. It was published and exhibitioned at Grafik Galleriet in Næstved (April, 2022).
